Booking Policy
How bookings work on SIP SOCIETY, from request to confirmation, payment and completion.
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1. Making a request
When you find an experience you'd like to book, you submit a booking request with your preferred date, group size and an optional message to the provider. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.
2. Provider confirmation
Each Provider has 24 hours to accept or decline your request. If the Provider does not respond within 24 hours, the request expires and no booking is created. Until a Provider accepts, no binding agreement exists.
3. Pricing and service fee
The price shown for each experience is set by the Provider. A 15% service fee is added on top of the Provider's price to support the Marketplace. The total amount — base price plus service fee — is displayed before you confirm your request.
4. Payment and escrow
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once a Provider accepts your request, your payment is authorised and held in escrow. The Provider is paid only after the experience is completed or after a valid invoice is uploaded and released, in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Invoice release
Providers may upload an invoice to request release of funds before the experience date. Released funds are settled to the Provider according to the agreed timeline, while the service fee is retained by SIP SOCIETY.
6. Completion
An experience is considered completed on the scheduled date. After completion, you may leave a review and, where applicable, request support or report an issue.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are handled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please review it before booking.
8. Marketplace role
SIP SOCIETY acts solely as the marketplace facilitating bookings and payments. Each Provider is solely responsible for the service they deliver, including pricing, availability, insurance, licenses, taxation and legal compliance.
